The world is apprently energy-addictive. Find out how much energy we need to run things today.
Tomorrow, it will wistfully be Solar, Wind, Biomass (i.e. ethanol etc.), Fuel cell, and whatnot. Renewable stands among top of my list of the next big things. I consider it one of the best opportunities for the economic growth, besides the bonus advantages it brings - such as trade deficit (hence value of the dollar if you'd care) and nat security.
Though I don't think Nuclear is renewable, you may find it exciting as the French does.
